Amber Pacheco

Principal Occupational Therapist

Amber Pacheco is the Principal Occupational Therapist at Strive Occupational Therapy.

Amber has over 7 years' experience working as a paediatric occupational therapist. Amber also has experience working with a wide range of other diagnosis.

Amber started her career working overseas as a mental health support worker in Canada, her country of origin. She then started her journey to Adelaide where she studied her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of South Australia. 


Amber attempts everyday to apply the same quality of learning to her practice. She participates in regular training and supervision to ensure her skills remain at the highest level. In addition, Amber is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Amber has a passion for working with children and went straight into paediatrics. Since graduating, Amber has worked for both private practices and for a not for profit organisation. In addition, Amber worked for a local sporting and recreation organisation providing community based aquatic therapy.

During her career, Amber has developed a passion for working in the community and within the child’s natural environment. Amber believes in using a holistic and strengths based approach to support children and their families.

Aside from working for Strive Occupational Therapy Amber likes to spend time with her partner, friends and english bulldog Tillie. She has a passion for sport and will watch or attend any sporting event. However her real love is for soccer which she continues to play. She also enjoys exploring the beautiful state of South Australia which she now calls home. When she has time she can be found exploring the beaches, up in the hills or adventuring around.
